Skil-Care has been developing and designing products for nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and homecare settings. Our ultimate goal is to enhance resident care and in addition, to assist healthcare facilities in reducing the occurrence of skin breakdown in the bed or wheelchair.

This chairpro safety alarm system consists of a firm foundation seating platform with a built in sensor and a chairpro safety alarm. The sensor is protected in a vinyl pocket within the leveling pad. The alarm immediately activates when the resident rises and automatically resets when the resident sits. The vinyl-covered leveling pad eliminates sling-seat "hammock effect".
